Career Penang Port Sdn. Bhd. is an established company engaged in port operations and ferry services in the port of Penang. To meet current and future development, the company invites suitably qualified Malaysian to fill the following positions:



1. EXECUTIVE, PUBLIC RELATIONS

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will assist Head (Public Relations) in related to public relations and corporate media. Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist in port promotion programme/activities such as exhibition, port visit (internal and external) and photography/ filming/ publication
  • Assist in the administration of information to media and general public
  • Assist in ensuring efficiency of event management, administration of resource databank and Public Relations Unit

Requirements:
  • Diploma in Mass Communication, Public Relations or equivalent from local/overseas university recognized by MQA, AND
  • Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills to develop and influence relationships, AND
  • Good command of written and spoken in English
  • Posses own transportation
  • Fresh graduate is encourage to apply

2. AUDIT MANAGER (IT & OPERATIONS)

Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of internal control system and compliance covering the computerized system and port operations & OSHE auditing. Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparation of audit report, assessing risk possibility & risk impact ratings,
  • Reviewing internal control effectiveness via RiskBased Auditing approach
  • Ensure adequate internal control system and compliance on system hardware and software, application system, database system and and networking i.e SAP, PELKON and QRadar Systems
  • Optimizing ComputerAssisted Audit Technique (CAAT) i.e ACL or IDEA

Requirements:
  • Bachelor (Hons) in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent from local/overseas university recognized by MQA
  • Preferably minimum of 5 years experience in related field with knowledge in “UNIX”, Windows specializing in LAN and WAN networking, Programming language, Internet web based application system and Lotus Notes, Oracle RDBMS and Microsoft Office Excel & Access for data analysis
  • Posses own mode of transportation, AND
  • Experience in Computer Aided Auditing Techniques (CAAT) and port or logistic industry will have an added advantage

3. HEAD, LEGAL & ADMIN

Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible in administration of Corporate Legal at the higher level management. Key responsibilities include:
  • Responsible on privatization documentation and advising the company in relation to all legal matters
  • Advising higher level management on the aspect of syariah compliance in the administration of halal hub
  • Responsible for legal documentation management relating to property matters
  • Act as a liaison between Penang Port and legal firm and also other government agencies

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Law and Syariah in Islamic Jurisprudence or Usul Fiqh from International Islamic University or other local/ overseas university recognized by MQA
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop and influence relationships
  • Preferably those with 5 years experience in similar field
  • Candidate without degree in Islamic Jurisprudence but have qualification in syariah is also encouraged to apply
